Policies & Information

Thank you for considering Horsepower Visuals. The following policies are designed to ensure a smooth experience for both clients and photographer. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Booking Information

  • All private sessions are booked by request and are subject to availability.

  • Submitting a booking request does not guarantee your reservation.

  • Session dates are officially reserved once a signed agreement and any required retainer have been received.

  • Event coverage bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

Payment Policy

  • A 25% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve all private sessions.

  • The remaining balance is due no later than the day of your scheduled session unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Event gallery purchases must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

  • Washington State sales tax will be applied where required.

Travel Policy

  • Travel within 30 miles of Fall City, Washington is included with private sessions.

  • For locations beyond 30 miles, travel fees apply only to the additional distance traveled.

  • If multiple clients book sessions at the same location on the same day, travel fees may be shared.

  • No travel fee is charged for events already listed on the Horsepower Visuals calendar.

  • Any applicable travel fees will always be discussed before booking.

Weather Policy

  • Sessions may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions, including heavy rain, severe wind, wildfire smoke, or other hazardous conditions.

  • The final decision regarding weather-related rescheduling rests with Horsepower Visuals.

  • Rescheduled sessions will be moved to the next mutually available date.

Gallery Delivery

  • Private session galleries are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks.

  • Event galleries are typically delivered within 1-2 weeks following the event unless otherwise stated.

  • Coverage clients receive priority editing and gallery delivery.

  • Clients will receive an email notification when their gallery is ready.

Digital Downloads & Prints

  • Purchased digital images include personal-use rights only.

  • Images may not be altered, heavily edited, sold, or used commercially without written permission.

  • Professional prints and wall art may be ordered directly through the online gallery.

  • Horsepower Visuals retains copyright to all images.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients may reschedule private sessions with reasonable notice.

  • Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new session date if rescheduled according to the terms of the agreement.

  • No-shows or cancellations without notice may result in forfeiture of any payments made.

Image Usage

Horsepower Visuals may use images for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
